J. Perry Maisonneuve, Founder and Principal

J. Perry Maisonneuve is the Founder and Principal of Northern Lights Consultants Corp. Educated at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Mr. Maisonneuve articled with Deloitte and Touche Chartered Accountants before joining a multi-national franchisor as Director of Franchise Operations for Canada and the United States. Mr. Maisonneuve subsequently worked with a diverse range of franchisors in the marketing and expansion of their systems before going on to establish Northern Lights Consultants Corp. in 1998.


J. Perry Maisonneuve is often interviewed and quoted by the media, and has published numerous books and articles on the subject of franchising. He is also a frequent public speaker and lecturer in this area.


Mr. Maisonneuve has provided expert testimony in franchise disputes as well as being listed in LEXPERT as an Expert Witness for litigation purposes regarding franchising matters.

Patti Hone, Director of Brand Development

Patti Hone is the Firm's Director of Brand Development. Over the course of twenty-five years, Ms. Hone has become an internationally recognized specialist in the areas of marketing, advertising and brand development. Through Ms. Hone's award-winning marketing and communications company, As You Like It , Ms Hone provides unparalled credentials, experience and a proven track record to benefit Northern Lights' clients. 

 
Ms. Hone's agency work includes retail and franchise accounts. Ms. Hone's creative campaigns have won over eighty advertising and marketing awards on behalf of her clients.

Patti Hone continues to be highly involved in the Canadian Franchise Association. Among other contributions, Ms. Hone has served on the CFA's Board of Directors for eight years. Ms Hone is also a monthly columnist in a number of industry magazines and newsletters. 

 
Ms. Hone is an acknowledged subject matter expert in the areas of branding, business growth, customer service and loyalty, as well as franchising. Ms. Hone is often invited to share her insights and experiences at conferences, trade shows and industry events.
